About Me

John CrosbyI am a former professional foodie turned keyboard-jockey in favor of a keyboard, cushy chair and cooler working conditions. The cooler working conditions are at Realeyes Media where I am the “Office Kuroko”:

In kabuki, the kuroko serve many of the same purposes as running crew. They move scenery and props on stage, aiding in scene changes and costume changes. They will also often play the role of animals, will-o-the-wisps, or other roles which are played not by an actor in full costume, but by holding a prop. Kuroko wear all black, head to toe, in order to imply that they are invisible and not part of the action onstage.

At Realeyes Media I have had my fingers in many projects and technologies from Realeyes’ beginning. From training curriculum for the Flash Platform and surrounding technologies to research and implementing new processes and tools for our management and development teams I love problem solving and providing solutions.

Away from the internet I spend my time as a father, husband, vinophile & productivity monk. Regardless of the subject, I am always on the lookout for tools, ideas and people that make food, code, business – whatever it is – more fun.
